What we collect

StoryGhost does not require an Instagram account and does not ask for Instagram credentials. Our hosting, analytics, and advertising partners may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser information, device identifiers, and page interactions.

Searches and public media

Usernames submitted to the viewer are sent to our server and configured public-data provider to fulfill the request. Avoid searching for information you consider sensitive. Public story media remains controlled by its original publisher and upstream services.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as page visits, device categories, and interactions. Google may use cookies or similar technologies when providing this service.

Advertising

Our advertising partner, Adsterra, and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, secure, and measure advertisements. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms and applicable consent requirements.
